blogavatar

Do you know that there is some kinds of emotional support animal that is on the No-Fly list? Yes, you can fly and air travel with your animal but some animals are absolutely off-limits. Because there are no restrictions on the type and breed of the animal that you could choose an emotional support animal, many people think that they can have any animal. Unfortunately, this is not how things work.

Some animals are wild and they are designed to live in the wild. Therefore, when choosing an animal, make sure that it is easily and readily accepted everywhere, including the aeroplanes.

Some of the animals that are not allowed on the aeroplanes are listed below.

  1. Reptiles and Cold-Blooded Animals

Reptiles like snakes, alligators and crocodiles do not fly. Do they even qualify for being ESA letter animals is also a big question mark. These animals could pass as exotic animals, pets and emotional support animals but other people are not okay with them. Therefore, these animals are not allowed on aeroplanes.

  1. Birds - Exotic and Common Birds

Want to fly with your bird? Unfortunately, you cannot. Birds, exotic or common, are not allowed to accompany you in the plane. Travelling with a cat or a dog is different, you can control and manage them but you cannot manage a bird. Plus, they are very noisy also.

  1. Peacocks and Rodents

Recently, there has been a case where a woman tried to get on board with her emotional support peacock. But she couldn't. Peacocks are large birds and since they are designed to live in the wild, they don't make good emotional support animals.

Similarly, rodents like squirrels are also not allowed in the planes. They are mischievous and once they are out of control, you cannot manage them.

  1. Spiders and Other Insects

Wondering if you could travel with your sweet and friendly spider? No, you cannot. Spiders and other insects could trigger phobias in people. Therefore, you cannot travel with your beloved animal. Also, they can trigger allergies in kids and adults and managing these allergies are tricky and difficult when you are thousands of feet above the ground but before everything first get done your esa registration.

  1. Wild and Exotic Animals

White tiger cubs may look great in the wild, and even in your house if you could afford them but they definitely not look very promising in an aeroplane. These animals are designed and built to live in the wild. They have different needs and this is why they don't even make great emotional support animals also.

These animals lack the qualities of ideal emotional support animals and this is why they are not considered befitting. Moreover, domesticating exotic animals is illegal in many states and you will have to pay a heavy fine in case you decide or try to go against the law.

Travelling with your ESA is great but make sure that you make a sensible decision when choosing one. Though with an emotional support animal letter you can live and travel with your emotio0nal support animal easily, you must look after other factors also.
